Digital Marketing Intern

In today’s world, digital marketing drives sales, brand reputation, and business growth. But did you need it also drives fundraising? The Faircom New York team is looking for a new Digital Marketing Intern to work alongside our 30+ non-profit clients as they grow their presence online. The internship will provide exposure to various aspects of digital marketing, such as social media, website development, online advertising, and email marketing.

Our interns work in a fast-paced environment and are eager to roll up their sleeves and play an important role in our campaigns. Interns work with world-renowned non-profit organizations and leave our internship program with a full portfolio of marketing samples.

The ideal candidate is an excellent writer, a quick learner and has strong technology and multimedia skills. The internship requires 30-40 hours per week, for the duration of 12 months with the opportunity of full-time employment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and creating new content for the Faircom social media and blog channels
  • Using various email platforms (MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.) to develop email marketing campaigns
  • Updating and developing WordPress websites
  • Handling some administrative responsibility’s including meeting preparation, researching opportunities to increase visibility through conferences and awards, and other office tasks

  • Strong writing skills
  • Flexible in work functions and duties
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadline
  • Experience working with a nonprofit
  • Expert knowledge of social media marketing best practices
  • Experience with WordPress websites
  • An outgoing and energetic personality, eager to work in a fast-paced agency setting
  • Mac proficiency

Office Manager

Faircom New York is an international fundraising and marketing agency that works with nonprofit organizations of varying breadth, depth, mission and size. With over 20 years of experience in fundraising and marketing, Faircom New York is committed to helping charitable organizations extend their reach through an integrated and innovative approach.

We are currently looking for an experienced and highly skilled Office Manager with 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping and general office administration. The candidate should be proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, be highly organized and be able to multitask.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Day-To-Day Management
    • Answer, screen and direct incoming calls
    • Organize and schedule appointments
    • Maintain and manage office calendar and contact list
    • Coordinate and book office travel arrangements
    • Receive and provide general support to visitors
    • Management and ordering of office supplies
  • Administration
    • Assist in the preparation of spreadsheets and presentations
    • Prepare marketing materials, draft proposals, etc…
    • Manage office expenses and adhere to an operations budget
    • Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
    • Monitor and update prospect tracking documents
    • Manage CEO’s social media accounts
    • Handle all aspects of charitable solicitation registrations by state
  • Financial Management
    • Provide QuickBooks support to the VP
    • Process accounts payable and receivables
    • Perform account reconciliations
    • Organize and maintain an orderly filing system

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficient in all aspects of QuickBooks
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, in particular
  • Attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High School Diploma a must. An Associates or Bachelors degree is preferred but not required
  • French speaking a plus
