Faircom New York is excited to announce our newest partners in fundraising: Girls Who Code, Conquer Cancer, MiracleFeet, and the Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Foundation. We are honored to work with nonprofits making such great strides in their fields, doing life-changing work around the world.
Girls Who Code was founded in 2012 and has become a national movement, reaching over 90,000 girls of all backgrounds in all 50 states. Through their coding programs for girls in elementary school through college, they are on track to achieve gender parity in the computer science field by 2027. Their programs teach girls new skills, open doors to new career paths, and create a community of peers and role models who help students and alumni persist and succeed.
Conquer Cancer funds research into every facet of cancer to benefit every patient, everywhere. In 1964, seven oncologists created the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), now a global network of nearly 45,000 cancer professionals. As ASCO’s foundation, Conquer Cancer helps turn science into a sigh of relief for patients around the world by supporting groundbreaking research and education across cancer’s full continuum.
Founded by parents of children with clubfoot in the US, MiracleFeet is an organization dedicated to increasing access to proper treatment for children born with clubfoot in low- and middle-income countries through partnerships with local healthcare providers. They have helped change the lives of more than 31,000 children in 25 countries by providing inexpensive, non-surgical treatment that results in full correction of the foot in 4 to 6 weeks.
The Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Foundation was created in 2014 to support the Aswan Heart Centre. Driven by the pioneering vision of Prof. Sir Magdi Yacoub, globally renowned cardiac surgeon, they are helping to change the landscape of cardiac health through three pillars of action: to serve, learn, and teach. This translates to providing free cardiac and basic medical care at the highest international standards to poor and vulnerable families; pushing the boundaries of scientific knowledge through research that is integrated into clinical care; and training the next generation of medical professionals from the Middle East and Africa. Taken together, this culminates in a true Center of Medical Excellence embedded in the heart of Egypt and truly unique to any other organization in the region.
Each of these organizations has a unique mission and is diligently working to achieve it. Our team will be working with them on a variety of campaigns that cross over the digital, event, and mail spaces. We are proud to partner with them as they advance their missions and change the lives of others.
