LBFE – Philadelphia: Cocktail Benefit Event

Challenge

In order to further their mission of relieving loneliness and isolation among the elderly in Philadelphia, Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly, Philadelphia Chapter (LBFE – Philadelphia) had several objectives:

  • Increase awareness of the chapter and their mission in Philadelphia
  • Raise funds to support their programs that reach 1,000 elders throughout Philadelphia
  • Create a community festival for the elders they serve to celebrate together

Solution

We helped LBFE- Philadelphia organize their first ever successful cocktail benefit on June 8th, 2017 at the DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton Philadelphia. The event honored the Philadelphia Chapter’s major partner, Philadelphia Corporation for Aging, and lifetime volunteer Rev. Annelouise Godner-Brown.

To help promote the event, we created an integrated campaign across:

  • Email and social media marketing
  • Direct mail
  • Event planning, including ticket sales, raffles and a silent auction serve to celebrate together

Results

  • The event brought together more than 120 guests including volunteers, elders, corporate partners, and local politicians.
  • The event increased visibility within Philadelphia about the Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly, Philadelphia Chapter
